About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Operations to join our team at Comun in our New York office. This role reports to the Head of Operations.
What is Business Operations?
At Comun, we are building products, processes, and platforms from scratch to provide easy to use and transparent financial services to a community typically overlooked by the traditional banking sector. To do this, we want to work with cross functional wizards who are comfortable working across functions and teams. Our Business Operations are part Product Managers, part Business Analysts, part Project Managers, and Strategy Advisors, and can work on a wide-range of projects including vendor management, product and platforms development, operational excellence and performance improvement initiatives.
What you’ll do:
As a crucial member of our startup team, you'll have the unique chance to shape and establish numerous processes and strategies. This role offers ample room for growth and encourages a proactive approach, giving you the chance to take ownership and oversee projects in various functions. Your drive and ambition will be key to unlocking exciting opportunities within Comun. Some of the areas you’ll be working on include:
- Strategy: Develop and execute a roadmap based on company priorities and limited resources, assessing tradeoffs and adapting as necessary
- Operations: Design processes that scale, bringing in-house outsourced processes, constantly look to improve the customer experience throughout the customer journey while improving the business unit economics
- Vendor Management: Work with vendors across fraud, customer support, card logistics, and other SaaS vendors to secure the best contracts and leverage their capabilities, and migrate from one vendor to another as needed, or look for new ones
- Product: Work closely with the product managers and the engineering team to inform product prioritization and improvement and work on technical projects as needed
